It was good to meet up with our SENCO Henry Ward on 24 May, in my role of link governor for special educational needs provision. Great to hear about the progress our children are making both at Mellers and the Nottingham Nursery School and the opportunities for wider staff team working across the Federation.

It was lovely to walk round the school with Henry to observe the provision made to support our children, and particularly good to meet members of the Focus Provision and find out how the children and staff have integrated so well into Mellers.

SEND needs continue to increase and the staff teams are working hard to support growing needs, faced with every-increasing challenges on resources.
