Wow what a year it has been! As I sat in the year 6 Leavers’ Assembly I reflected on what a truly outstanding education the pupils at Mellers experience. I was so proud to watch the musicians, poets, dancers and actors reflect on their time at the school – what a truly competent and polished group of young people. We wish them well as their journey continues.

The previous day I attended the Founder’s Day Assembly and had the pleasure of presenting trophies to year 6 and gifts to members of staff moving on from the school. Again it was such a slick and professional occasion beautifully organised by Miss Dermody and Mrs Buttress.

Lastly at the end of this academic year I would like to thank all staff who make Mellers the wonderful school it is. I truly believe that everyone at Mellers, no matter what their role, is passionate about the school and its community. So thank you to you all for everything you do for the children and its community. Have a lovely break!
