Yesterday evening the Governing Body met again to continue our work looking at our strategic development. We began by welcoming a new Governor, Celia Morris, who will formally join us on July 8th at the next Full Governing Body Meeting.

During the session, we looked closely at our role and discussed our main priorities around leadership, improving outcomes for pupils and maintaining our high standards for pupil wellbeing and behaviour.

The outcome of the meeting was to meet again in June to clarify our vision and to undergo leadership training, which all staff have undertaken, so that we are much sharper in the way we operate to improve the education for the students at Mellers.
