We have wonderful news for you:  Mellers was nominated for the Swim England annual awards, in the Best Primary School category for our commitment to swimming for all children from 5-11 years of age.  Guess what? We won!  We’re absolutely thrilled that our commitment has been recognised.  We’d really like to thank our fabulous teachers, pupils and parents who support the work we do to make sure that all our children are strong swimmers and able to perform self rescue by the time they leave us to go on to secondary school.  Here’s the link to the video, we’re on at 10 minutes in:
