As part of governor monitoring week, I visited Nottingham Nursery School.  I met with Amanda Dawson, Executive Headteacher, and the 2 nursery teachers, Hardeep Atwal and Bridie Martin.  We discussed the exciting plans for the development of the outdoor play area, including a revamping of the sand and water area, and the building of a changing area for wet weather clothes and wellies after Forest Garden activities.  The school business manager, Lynette Randall, was successful in procuring £10,000 to support this work.  The plans are really exciting, the work has started and is ongoing and I’m really excited to see the results!
