It has been a real pleasure to work alongside Mrs Newbold and Mrs Gillen to design the new school library. A few years ago I interviewed a group of pupils who told me that they would love to have a school library, but where would we find the space and the money? This summer it is finally going to happen and when the children return in September there will be a lovely surprise for them. We have worked alongside Alix Barker, a designer who has come up with some amazing ideas! Staff and pupils have been consulted and we think we have come up with a wonderful new learning space for our children where they will be able to read, relax and enjoy the wonders of books.
